Trang An is around 10km while Tam Coc is around 16km from the resort, thus Trang An is nearer than Tam Coc. The main activity in both attractions is sightseeing from a bamboo boat rowed by a local. Being recognized as a World Heritage Site, Trang An is more famous so it may be a bit more touristic. However, both are worth your visit and not too far from each other.
